Elderly Man With Dementia Wanders Away From Assisted Living Facility In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 78-year-old man with dementia wandered away from an assisted living facility in Long Beach.

David Seldes, who requires medication, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the building in the 3100 block of E. Artesia Boulevard.

Authorities said the man also went missing in February, but was later found in the City of Industry.

Seldes was described as Caucasian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 120 pounds, with grey hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a brown jacket, red T-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information on Seldes' whereabouts was asked to call the Long Beach Police Department at (562) 435-6711.
