Driver Killed After Striking Utility Pole, Crashing Into Backyard In Covina

COVINA (CBSLA) — A driver died Wednesday after striking a utility pole and crashing into a backyard.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash was reported at about 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Vincent Avenue and Queenside Drive.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver died as a result of a crash or if they suffered a medical emergency that caused the crash.
The driver's identity was not immediately released.
