Driver Dies After Crashing Outside Coto De Caza Home

COTO DE CAZA (CBSLA.com/AP) — A man died Friday night after his vehicle hit a curb, went airborne and slammed into a home in Coto de Caza.

Franz Nalezny, 22, was traveling southbound on Vista Del Verde Drive around 7:40 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, hit a curb, struck a wall and then rammed up into the home, according to Orange County fire officials.

The California State University Fullerton student was trapped inside his car. He died at the scene.

A mother and her children who were inside the home were not hurt. The house suffered minimal damage.

Coto de Caza is well-known to reality TV show viewers as the home of "The Real Housewives of Orange County."
