Dodgers Work As Southwest Employees For The Day
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Southwest Airlines is the newest official sponsor of the Los Angeles Dodgers' and the team sent three of its players to LAX Thursday to celebrate the new partnership.
Los Angeles Dodgers players Justin Turner, Joc Pederson, and Kike' Hernandez all were at LAX Thursday afternoon, working for the airlines to celebrate the new partnership between Southwest Airlines and the Dodgers.
The trio of Dodgers interacted with travelers at the airport on Thursday, by welcoming them on and off their designated flights, and working as "Operations Agents" at the boarding gates.
They took passengers boarding passes as certified airport crew looked on, and even made some announcements on the PA system inside the airport.

Justin Turner and Hernandez were even able to snap a quick photo in the cockpit with a Southwest pilot.

The players stopped to take pictures with travelers, and even signed some autographs.
Turner was activated off of the 15-day disabled list Thursday, as INF Jose Peraza was sent back down to Triple-A OKC.
Southwest Airlines is the newest official sponsor of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
