Dodgers Place Yasiel Puig On 15-Day Disabled List
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed outfielder Yasiel Puig on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring injury.
After initially injuring his hamstring during a game earlier in August against the Oakland A's, Puig re-aggravated the injury Thursday night against the Cincinnati Reds.

Puig was attempting to beat out an infield single when he came up limping after he hit first base.
He was in the middle of a ten-game hitting streak where he was hitting .342. On the season, Puig has 11 home runs, 38 RBI's, and a .256 batting average.
The Dodgers recalled infielder Jose Peraza, who was acquired in a trade with the Atlanta Braves at the trade deadline, for the second time this season.
Peraza is just 1-6 in his MLB career with the Dodgers, although in 22 games in Triple-A Oklahoma City, he is batting .289 with seven stolen bases.
Andre Ethier, Carl Crawford and Kike' Hernandez are starting in the outfield for the Dodgers on Friday as they open a series with the Chicago Cubs.
Mattingly: Yasiel Puig's hamstring should keep him out "more than 10 days." He hopes it's not as bad as last hamstring injury (5 wks on DL)
