Deputies search for assault suspect in Tustin
Orange County sheriff's deputies were searching for an assault suspect Monday near the intersection of 17th Street and Esplanade Avenue in North Tustin, and 17th Street is closed between Esplanade and Holt avenues, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
It was first reported around 8 a.m.
Families dropping off students at nearby Loma Vista Elementary School were advised to use Prospect Avenue.
Around 11:25 a.m. deputies tweeted an update that the streets were reopening and they had finished searching.
Deputies are finished in North Tustin and 17th Street is reopening. We appreciate the communities patience.
