Deadly Shooting Investigation In Valley Glen
VALLEY GLEN (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Wednesday investigated the shooting death of a man in Valley Glen.
Police responded just before midnight to the 13600 block of Sylvan Street for report of shots fired in the area.
Upon their arrival, authorities pronounced an adult man dead at the scene.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting took place in the 1600 block of Victory Boulevard.
Police believe the victim walked from the shooting location to Sylvan Street, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A passerby located his body, and notified authorities.
A possible suspect description was not immediately available.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
