Deadly Shooting Outside Sizzler Leads To Wild Police Pursuit In Ventura

VENTURA (CBSLA.com) —  A deadly shooting outside a Sizzler restaurant in Ventura led to a police pursuit that ended in a violent crash.

Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky 9, said that the chase ended on Cambria and Saticoy Avenue.

At least one person died in the shooting that happened around 4:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of Main Street in Ventura.  The other victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

Two people were shot in the incident that occurred about four miles from the crash scene.

Officials said following the crash, three occupants of the vehicle -- two males and a female -- were taken into custody. One more suspect fled but has been captured, Mundel reported.
