Crews Knock Down South LA House Fire

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel have knocked down a house fire that erupted in South L.A. Tuesday night.

Crews were called to the scene in the 200 block of 88th Place near San Pedro Street about 8:20 p.m.

The fire had spread to the attic of the home but was quickly put out.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
