Crews Extinguish Third-Alarm Fire At Strip Mall In Pico Rivera
PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters extinguished a third-alarm blaze on Tuesday that erupted inside a commercial strip mall in Pico Rivera.
Around 4:30 a.m., crews were sent to the 4500 block of Rosemead Boulevard for report of a structure fire, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Upon their arrival, firefighters located heavy smoke and flames showing from the one-story building.
In total, 105 firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within two hours.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
