Clippers' Chris Paul Out For Up To 5 Weeks With Separated Shoulder
DALLAS(CBSLA.com) - Clippers guard Chris Paul will be out up to five weeks after separating his right shoulder against the Dallas Mavericks Friday night, according to head coach Doc Rivers.
The injury happened with 6:43 left in the third quarter when he attempted to drive to the basket then fallto the ground on his right shoulder after a bump foul by Monta Ellis.
Paul was on fire before he left. He scored 19 points, including five three-pointers.
Darren Collison picked up the slack for CP3 in the second half and helped the Clippers defeat the Mavs, 119-112.
