Clip Shows YouTube User Landing Miniature Falcon 9 Replica On Platform In Pool

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hawthorne-based SpaceX made history earlier this year when it landed one of its Falcon 9 rockets on a floating platform off the Florida coast.

Now, a YouTube user shared how he could do something similar but on a much smaller scale.

In the clip posted to YouTube, user ajw61185 is seen landing the mini-Falcon 9 replica on a platform in his pool.

The folks at SpaceX saw the video and tweeted: "Not bad ... a little off center."
