Caught On Video: Man Threatens To Blow Up Studio In Manhattan Beach
MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police asked for the public's help Thursday to identify a man who threatened to blow up a studio in Manhattan Beach.
Three calls on Sept. 14 between 8:30 and 9:25 a.m. to Manhattan Beach Studios expressed hatred toward America and Americans and an intention to blow up the studio, Manhattan Beach police officials said.
Detectives determined the calls were made from a phone booth in Santa Monica, where detectives were able to get surveillance video from a nearby business at the time of one of the calls, police said.
He was described a man with dark skin, between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-2, wearing glasses and a watch on his right wrist, a pink short-sleeved Polo-type shirt, black pants and black shoes with pink shoe laces. He drove a black 2002-2006 model BMW 325i sedan convertible with a black top.
