Car Shears Through Power Pole In Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — A car sheared through a power pole in Baldwin Park, interrupting power to some customers in the area.
The crash was reported at about 7 a.m. at Baldwin Park Boulevard and Olive Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The black sedan crashed into the power pole, which was severed from its concrete base, and into the fence alongside the blacktop at Jerry Holland Middle School.
Utility crews were sent to repair the power pole and some electrical lines that were downed.
There were no immediately reports of serious injuries.
