Businessman Who Appeared On 'Millionaire Matchmaker' Pleads Not Guilty To Rape Charges

BEVERLY HILLS (AP) — A businessman who appeared as a contestant on the Bravo TV reality dating show "Millionaire Matchmaker" has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting three women.

The criminal complaint against Michael Leslie Bernback alleges he administered a controlled substance to one of the women and tied and bound another woman during an alleged attack.

The 63-year-old Sherman Oaks resident was arrested earlier this year and posted $2.1 million bail. He entered not guilty pleas on Monday.

The charges include forcible rape, rape by use of drugs, and rape of an unconscious person.

Bernback is scheduled to return to court Dec. 17.

If convicted as charged, he could face multiple life terms in state prison.

Bernback appeared on the Bravo dating series in 2011.
