CAJON PASS (CBSLA.com) — A brush fire was spreading in the Cajon Pass on Saturday afternoon, ignited by the collision of a bus and a car on the 15 Freeway, just south of the 138 Freeway in San Bernardino County.

The fire spread quickly from a quarter-acre when firefighters were called to the scene, at about 1 p.m., to 10 acres about a half-hour later. Soon after, the fire spread across the 138 Freeway. By 2 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire Department said it was making good progress fighting the blaze and the fire was holding at 10 acres.

Four northbound lanes on the 15 freeway are closed near the 138 Freeway and motorists should expect delays, Caltrans said.
