Big-Rig Hauling Boat Jackknifes On 10 Freeway Causing Traffic Delays

CITY TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — A big-rig hauling a boat jackknifed on a major thoroughfare in the City Terrace area, snarling rush-hour traffic Friday.

The truck's driver sustained minor injuries in the accident, which occurred just after 4:30 p.m. on the eastbound 10 Freeway at East Eastern Avenue.

The crash was blocking three lanes on the freeway, causing a backup through East Los Angeles to the 101 Freeway.

The cause of the crash was not known.
