With new breweries currently being built, locally brewed suds are all the rage and Anaheim is becoming a hub. The Fest of Ales pools some of the best local beers along the fashionably quaint stretch of the Anaheim Promenade. Gourmet food vendors will be serving up their best with dozens of Southern California breweries all pouring off unlimited tastings.

Celebrating it's 8th year, the collective communities of Fiji, Guam, Micronesia, Tonga, Samoa, Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Marshall Islands all ascend upon Central Park in Huntington to sharing in the rich cultural tradition of the Pacific Islander population of Southern California. Ceremonial performances, traditional music and art, plus of course, lots of authentic food make the two-day event fun for the entire family. Adding health screenings onsite and outlets to community resources, the party has a purpose as well. This is a free event.

Although not on the official calendar of events with Disneyland, Dapper Day, which runs from Sept. 18th through Sept 20th, has gone from a small community of Disney enthusiasts to a week full of events that takes over the Disneyland Hotel, convention ballrooms, and has thousands of participants. With attendees decked out in their finest attire, the corners of the Happiest Place on Earth are full with the fashionably festive. With a schedule of events that include cocktail mixers and different rendezvous points, Dapper Day is a unique experience outside of the typical day with the Mouse.

A fantastic way to bid farewell to the weekend, San Diego reggae outfit Tribal Theory performs a free, all ages concert on the patio of Fullerton's live music destination, the Slidebar.
