For a truly luxurious movie and dining experience, look no further than iPic Theaters in Westwood. iPic brings the movie-going experience to a whole new level, while making it an affordable luxury experience and is only the second iPic to open in Southern California (after Pasadena). The modern and stylish theater is similar to a luxury hotel with a cool, lounge vibe and is comprised of six-auditoriums and 424-seats. Guests have the choice between premium and premium plus seating, both of which have large leather seats, though the plus seats recline and come with blankets and pillows.

Complimentary popcorn also comes with the premium plus seats, as well as food and beverage service. With just a touch of a button, a "ninja" server will arrive, take your order and deliver gourmet food selections and handcrafted cocktails to your seat. If you're concerned about disrupting the movie going experience for you or everyone else, the servers are very discreet and the seats are far enough apart that you generally won't hear other people ordering. Premium seating ticket-holders can purchase food and beverages (including cocktails) direct from Tanzy Express, located on each floor, and bring it into the theatre to enjoy. Of course, premium plus ticket-holders also have the option to grab something at Tanzy Express.

Renowned chef Sherry Yard designed the diverse and locally sourced menu, which includes dishes like salmon tartare in Thai chili cones, potato knishes with caramelized onions and braised pork belly and Swiss chard empanadas. Fresh, seasonal cocktails from award-winning mixologist and master sommelier Adam Seger include house-made syrups, bitters and infusions. Tanzy, the brands signature restaurant, features delicious Italian food created by Chef Bryan Podgorski as Executive Chef (Thomas Keller group).

Landmark Theatres is the nation's largest theatre chain dedicated to exhibiting and marketing independent film and has been known to show artistic and avant-garde films since its founding in 1974. In addition to promoting independent films, some mainstream movies and blockbusters are shown as well and The Landmark always seems to have a great line-up of films to choose from. Other advantages that draw in a crowd are the gourmet concession items, on-line ticketing, stadium seating with comfortable leather chairs and great customer service. Try watching a movie in one of the Screening Lounges where you can get cozy on one of the comfy couches or loveseats as well. Be sure and reserve your seats and purchase tickets in advance on-line, especially movie premieres, which can sell out quickly. Parking is free for three hours in the underground lot at The Westside Pavilion and many restaurants can be found along Pico Blvd. to grab dinner before a show. The wine bar on-site is huge as well and makes for a great place to gather with friends and socialize after your movie.
