In the spirit of true procrastination, there are still a couple more weeks until you need to panic about finishing your taxes. Spring is around the corner and El Nino never really became what anyone thought. It's a great weekend to get into something and have some stuff to brag about come Monday. The stage adaptation of the hugely successful 2007 film of the same name, "Once," will finish out a small West Coast run at the Pantages this weekend. Winner of multiple awards from the Tony's to the Grammys in just a few short years on and off Broadway, the production showcases the same music from Glen Hansard and Marketa Irgolva that propelled the film to earn numerous awards as well. A story of fractured love, chance meetings, and the intrinsic connection music seems coax out of all of us, this Irish-love story is beautifully blue collar. In addition to night of incredible tunes, the show takes place within the opulent confines of one of Hollywood's theatre treasures in the Pantages.

While the beer festival is nothing new in Southern California, the folks at the Michelada Rumble have added a bit more flavor to the beverage event category. The bloody beer that is synonymous with California culture now has it's own festival, competition, and really, celebration. Boasting flavor profiles that transform Mexican lagers into spicy, savory, and citrusy combinations with culinary care, the Michelada is beer's answer to the Bloody Mary and is becoming hugely popular. This particular event allows locales throughout the area to being their best recipes to eanr bragging rights for best in show when it comes to the bloody beer. In between sips, guests will enjoy live tunes from radio legend Richard Blade, an onsite art installation from ArtSoup LA, and cruises dozens of vendors all while betting the ponies at Santa Anita.

Finishing out his three night run of dates at the Los Angeles Sports Arena, the Boss will likely play another 3-4 hours set, a blink of an eye for his devoted fans. Touring in support of the recent box release set of his seminal record, "The River," a new generation of Springsteen fanatics are getting the chance to understand just why the man and his songbook are revered as genuine Americana. It's rare that a show comes around that will appease you, Mom and Dad, and Grandma and Grandpa, but this is that show. Score your ticket.

Though the fraternity of gearheads have the kind of knowledge and enthusiasm for cars that goes above and beyond, the rest of us still know a good looking ride when we see it. Bridging that gap is the weekend social that combines a morning cup of coffee and a stroll through some automotive awe in the city of Corona. Self-organized and completely free to the public, this early morning Sunday tradition brings out some 200 different automobiles of all varieties. Visitors grab a warm cup of coffee and cruise around the lot spreading their appreciation for the owners tender-loving care.

For the entire month of March, the Made Gallery down in Long Beach's Pine Square has transformed itself into a living shrine to one of it's most famous exports, Snoop Dogg. Showcasing a host of images from photographer and documentarian Duke Givens, the childhood friend of Snoop was one of the earliest to chronicle the rapper's life during his formable years before becoming a household name. Candid images of Snoop becoming a father, collaborating with his 213 compatriots Warren G and Nate Dogg, and roaming his stomping grounds of Long Beach provide an intimate look at an artist that is now larger than life.
