Beached whale removed from Torrance Beach; public told to "swim with caution"

A beached whale has been removed from Torrance Beach. 

Multiple agencies responded to the scene Sunday and secured the whale for a necropsy. The public had been advised to avoid the area. 

Just before 2 p.m. however, the scene had been cleared. The public was asked to swim with caution.
