ASICS World Series Of Beach Volleyball Founder Shares Event Details

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) —With the World Cup over, the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball is the next must watch world sporting event hosting the best international competition in the United States.

Founder Leonard Armato, joined us on KCAL9 Tuesday afternoon to talk about this year's world series that kicks off today in Long Beach.

The ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball is known as one of the biggest sports, music and beach lifestyle event of its kind, hosting more than 128 of the top beach volleyball players in the world who are all competing for a prize worth more than $1 million.

Armato said fans can expect to hear performances alongside the tournament this year by MAGIC!, Eric Hutinson, SomeKindaWonderful, Katy Tiz and Bleachers.
