As Many As 2 Pedestrians Struck By Car In Boyle Heights

BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — As many as two pedestrians have been struck by a vehicle after a traffic collision in Boyle Heights.

Aerial footage above the accident scene at St. Louise Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue showed at least one of the victims being treated.

"We also understand that the vehicle, after striking that pedestrian, tried to flee and civilians restrained that driver and vehicle," reported Sky 2's Stu Mundel, according to preliminary information.

The California Highway Patrol is expected to arrive on scene to begin investigating.
