USC Tops UCLA In Annual Rivalry Game, 52-35
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — The crosstown showdown between the two colleges kicked off at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Nov 23. at 12:30 p.m. Trojans beat the Bruins with a final score of 52-35 behind a record-breaking performance by quarterback Kedon Slovis.
Slovis beat the USC record for most pass yards in a single game with 515 yards.
The two teams met on Saturday for the 89th time. For many, it's a local rivalry that goes beyond just football— it's about which campus is superior in Los Angeles. Both teams started playing in 1929,with USC holding a 47-32-7 edge in the series.
USC finishes the regular season 8-4 and 7-2 in the Pac-12.
