Large Reptile Caught In Huntington Park
HUNTINGTON PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police officers caught an unusual suspect Tuesday in Huntington Park.
Police received a call early Tuesday from a resident who reported that an alligator was loose in the area.
Officers responded to the location and found "a rather large reptile (over three feet long) that clearly was not native to this area," authorities said.
It was later determined that the animal was not an alligator.
The large and "very aggressive" reptile was safely captured and taken to a local animal shelter.
