76-year-old woman injured during hit-and-run crash in Woodland Hills

CBS News Los Angeles

The search for a hit-and-run driver who hit a woman in Woodland Hills last year continues, with investigators asking the public to come forward with any information they may have.

The crash happened on Nov. 24 at around 6:40 p.m., when a dark-colored sedan driving southbound on Fallbrook Avenue near Victory Boulevard struck a 76-year-old woman as she was crossing the street, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.

Instead of stopping to help, the driver continued to drive, leaving the woman behind at the scene.

Though they have not released much information on the suspect, they believe they could have been driving an early-2010s Honda Civic.

They did not provide details on the woman's injuries nor her condition.
