7 Injured In Rowland Heights Apartment Fire

ROWLAND HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — A fire at a Rowland Heights apartment complex injured seven people, three of which were forced to jump from a second story window.

The fire was reported in a second floor unit around 11:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Otterbein Avenue, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

The victims, two of which were children, suffered minor burns, smoke inhalation, and a fractured leg.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the fire was caused by an electrical problem.

A damage estimate was not available.
