63-year-old man last seen in Lancaster is safely found

Authorities on Sunday thanked the public for assistance in locating a 63-year-old man who had gone missing in Lancaster. 

Randol Brian Krumm had last been seen around 7:15 p.m. Saturday in the 4300 block of West Avenue L-4, prompting a search. His family grew concerned as he is blind in his left eye and requires medication.  

Just before 11:30 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that he had been located. 

"Thank you to the public, the media, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Randol," the LASD said in a news release.

No further details were provided.
