60 Freeway back open after deadly crash in Moreno Valley

All westbound lanes on the 60 Freeway were closed due to a deadly crash involving a pedestrian in Moreno Valley.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m. on the freeway near Perris Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

When officers arrived to the scene, they found the victim in the road, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released yet.

The CHP issued a SigAlert that closed all lanes of the westbound freeway for several hours while officers investigated the cause of the collision.

All lanes are now back open.
