6 People Stabbed At Pasadena House Party
PASADENA (CBSLA.com/AP) — Six men in their early 20s were stabbed at a Pasadena house party promoted on social media.
The attack was first reported at about 3:10 a.m. Saturday at a home on East California Boulevard near San Gabriel Boulevard. Six men in their 20s were stabbed, two critically, police said. A seventh person suffered a blunt-force injury.
All the victims were male.
A man with a knife was taken into custody after two victims pointed him out to police. Aaron Te, 21, of San Gabriel was arrested at the scene and booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
About 200 people were at the party, and an argument apparently preceded the attack, police said.
"The investigation revealed that suspect Te bumped into someone at the party and a fight quickly erupted," Pasadena police Lt. John Mercado said. "During the fight, Te produced a knife and started to stab people who were standing close to him."
Gourdikian said the house had been publicized on social media by the host.
Anyone with information about the fight or who witnessed the stabbing can call the Pasadena Police Department at (626) 744-4620.
