405 Freeway Carpool Lanes Set To Open Friday Through Sepulveda Pass
SEPULVEDA PASS (CBSLA.com) — Commuters who have suffered through the 405 Freeway construction along the Sepulveda Pass will be thrilled to know the carpool lane is finally opening Friday morning.
The new carpool lanes are scheduled to open between 4 and 5 a.m.

The 10-mile stretch from the 10 Freeway to the 101 closes the gap in the 405 carpool network.
Drivers will now be able to stay in the carpool lane from Orange County through the Sepulveda Pass.
The carpool lanes were the primary goal of the Sepulveda Pass Project, but officials say more work still needs to be done.
