40-Acre Brush Fire Threatening Structures In Ventura County
VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — Officials say a 40-acre brush fire is threatening structures near Casitas Vista Road and N. Ventura Ave in Casitas Springs area.
Ventura County Fire is on scene battling the blaze.
Crews weere dispatched to the area just before 2 p.m.
No evacuations have been ordered. No injuries have been reported.
Authorities said crews are fighting the heavy brush fire that is moving east to west from the air and ground.
From the scene, firefighters reported making "quick work" of the blaze and didn't expect it to get larger.
By 5 p.m., firefighters said no structures were threatened.
