4 people and a dog rescued out of Sepulveda Basin

Four homeless people and their dog were rescued out of a heavily flooded section of the Sepulveda Basin.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, helicopter and ground crews rescued the victims from the 15700 block of West Burbank Boulevard. 

All of the victims were taken to the hospital.
