33-year-old man stabbed to death by teenagers after near Inglewood

Police seek public's help identifying four suspects in fatal stabbing

Police are searching for four teenagers who chased down and stabbed a 33-year-old man to death.

"They've exhausted all their leads," said Officer Jeffrey Lee, an LAPD Public Information Officer.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, on April 1, Dominic Lord and four teenagers had gotten into an argument after exiting a bus on 89th Street and Western Avenue. After the argument, the four teenagers chased down and surrounded Lord. The victim then fell to the ground before being stabbed.

The suspects then ran eastbound on Manchester Avenue, east of Harvard Boulevard. The Los Angeles Fire Department transported Lord to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have described the suspects as two girls and two boys, all between the ages of 14-16. The motive for the stabbing remains unclear.

Despite needing the public's help in identifying the suspects, police also wanted to offer a safety message.

"It's not worth the risk anymore to get involved in any kind of altercation. Be the bigger person, walk away because at the end of the day, you don't want to lose your life over just a petty argument," Officer Lee said.

Authorities are encouraging anyone who may know who the teens are or who might have been in the area at the time of the stabbing to contact the Los Angeles Police Department.
