30-Year-Old Man Fatally Wounded In San Bernardino Shooting

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 30-year-old man has died after being shot multiple times in San Bernardino early Saturday morning.

San Bernardino police say Calvin Boykins, the victim, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just after 2 a.m. June 25.

The shooting had been reported in the area of 13th Street and Berkeley Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found Boykins outside of an open car door. First responders arrived on scene and pronounced him dead.

Police said officers also located a Rottweiler that had been shot. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian where it later died.

No suspect information has been released.
