2 Shot In Baldwin Hills Near Crenshaw Plaza

BALDWIN HILLS (CBSLA.com) Two people were shot in Baldwin Hills near Crenshaw Plaza Sunday evening.

Gordon Spencer, in Sky2, said two were shot at Stocker and Crenshaw Boulevard.

Detectives with the LAPD's Southwest division are on scene investigating is scene the circumstances of the shooting which occurred just after 5 p.m.

A suspect is at large, police said.

Both of the wounded are in stable condition.

CBS2's Jasmine Viel, reporting from the scene, said two men in their 20swere shot at a stoplight. A third man in  a van was not hit and is providing information to police.

One witness said he heard five shots.

One unidentified man on a bike saw the incident play out and said he ducked for cover when an SUV pulled up to van and started shooting. Police will be looking at security video.

Authorities told Viel that did not know if the shooting was gang related.

No shell casings were found in or around the victim's vehicle that would appear to indicate the victims did not fire back.
