$23M SuperLotto Ticket Sold In Reseda

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)  – Authorities say a $23 million SuperLotto ticket was sold at a grocery store in Reseda -- and that's a lot of grocery money.

The $23 million won in last night's draw is the largest SuperLotto winner in 2016.

Winning numbers were 3, 4, 27, 30 and 40. The Mega number was 17.

According to the California Lottery, the winner will have the option of taking the full $23 million spread out over 30 years, or a lump sum amount of $15.5 million, less federal taxes.

The ticket was purchased at the Food 4 Less located at 18318 Vanowen Street. This retailer will receive $115,000 bonus just for selling the ticket.

Thirteen people had 4 of the winning numbers and the Mega and will each win $1,602.

On March 5, 2016, a SuperLotto Plus ticket worth $22 million was sold in Riverside County.

Three of the five winning SuperLotto Plus jackpots this year have gone to players in the Southland, said the California Lottery.

Current Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots stand at 60 and 174 million, respectively.
