22-Year-Old Man Behind Bars As Suspect In Fatal Stabbing In Temecula

TEMECULA (CBSLA.com)  —  A 22-year-old man is behind bars as the suspect in a fatal stabbing in Temecula, according to authorities.

The stabbing occurred just before 1:55 a.m. Saturday in the 44000 block of Bouchaine Street, according to Sgt. Wallace Clear of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The victim was found lying on the sidewalk suffering from an apparent stab wound.

The unidentified man was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries, Clear said.

After an investigation by Riverside County Sheriff's Central Homicide detectives and Southwest Station investigators, Drake Felde, 22, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

Officials did not reveal a motive for the homicide or provide a relationship between suspect and victim. The investigation is ongoing.
