2 Men Found Fatally Shot In Group Home For Disabled Adults

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Two men were found fatally shot Tuesday inside a San Bernardino group home for the disabled, police said.

Authorities discovered the bodies after they were called to a residence along the 1100 block of Hancock Street at 12:30 p.m., KCAL9's Tom Wait reported.

"One of the residents there said they came to the residence and there was some blood coming out from underneath one of the doors," San Bernardino police Lt. Rich Lawhead said.

A family member told Wait that one of the victims worked inside the care center.

It's possible the deaths were part of a murder-suicide.

"We don't know that for sure. Obviously, it's going to take us awhile before we can determine where evidence is and how things look. But right now it does appear that way," Lawhead said.

Last night, officers were called to the block because of a fight, although it's not clear if the incidents are connected, Wait reported.

No arrests have been made.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

No other information was immediately available.
