2 Men Allegedly Shoot Man At Pomona Nightclub, Flee Rollover Crash
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Police say two men who shot a man at a Pomona nightclub early Saturday triggered a rollover crash as they fled.
Officers were called to Club La Luna at 3220 Temple Boulevard shortly before 2 a.m. after several people called in to report gunshots had been fired.
Police arrived to find a man suffering serious injuries that were not deemed life-threatening. They were told the suspects had just driven away from the club.
While officers searched the area, they received a report that a vehicle resembling the suspect's car had exited the 10 Freeway at Fairplex and had been involved in a rollover crash.
A civilian in the overturned car suffered major injuries, police said.
The suspects reportedly had fled the scene on foot after the accident.
Officers scoured the area and caught up to the men. They located a weapon at scene of the rollover crash.
Police have identified the suspected shooters as San Bernardino resident Dhati Conley, 24, and Colton resident Terrell Wilds, 24. They were booked on suspicion of attempted murder and felony hit and run.
Pomona investigators are probing the shooting and California Highway Patrol are looking into the traffic collision. Anyone with information about either incident was asked to contact Pomona police at (909) 620-2085.
