2 LAPD officers injured in Harbor Gateway rollover crash

2 LAPD officers released from hospital after suffering injuries in rollover crash

Two Los Angeles Police Department officers have been released from the hospital after sustaining injuries in a rollover crash in the Harbor Gateway area early Sunday morning. 

The crash happened at around 1:15 a.m. near S. Figueroa Street and W. Rosecrans Avenue, according to the department. 

The officers were inside of a patrol car that collided wth another vehicle in the area, resulting in both suffering minor injuries. They have since been released from the hospital after receiving treatment. 

Officials have not yet disclosed what caused the crash or what sort of injuries the officers had. 

Police say that a juvenile driver was arrested at the scene for DUI, but did not provide any further information. 

Video from the scene shows a police patrol vehicle turned onto its roof, which appeared to be resting on a red sedan's hood. The other car had also sustained heavy damage.
