2 Fatally Shot Outside Panorama City 7-Eleven Store
PANORAMA CITY (CBSLA.com) — Two people were killed and one person was wounded Thursday in a shooting outside a 7-Eleven store in the San Fernando Valley.
The shooting occurred around 5:55 a.m. in the 8200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard in Panorama City, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Officer Todd Chamberlain said the three male victims were standing outside the convenience store when two Hispanic suspects "walked up to them, got involved in an argument or some type of conversation that was very brief" and opened fire.
Deshawn Miles, 19, and another young man died at the scene. A man in his 40s suffered a leg wound and was taken to a hospital.
No arrests were reported, but police released a photo of Angel Santana, who police suspect was involving in the shootings.
He is 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, is missing his left eye and has tattoos over his left eyebrow, right jaw and right side of his neck. He drives a tan 2005 Ford F-150 pickup with the California license plate number 7U83839. He should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
