2 Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide In Torrance

TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — A 47-year-old woman and the 32-year-old man she was dating were killed early Sunday morning in an apparent murder-suicide in a Torrance home.

"It appears to be related to domestic violence," Torrance police Sgt. Paul Kranke told City News Service. "They were in a dating relationship."

Officers were dispatched at 12:20 a.m. to the 3200 block of 180th Place on a report of gunshots heard in a residence, said Kranke.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
