2 Dead, 1 Critically Injured In Willowbrook Crash Stemming From Pursuit
COMPTON (CBSLA) — Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were in pursuit of a suspect wanted for an unknown reason on Saturday night, when a horrific car crash ensued, killing two and critically injuring one.
Initial reports had indicated that the crash occurred in Compton, however the incident actually took place in Willowbrook. Two of the people involved in the crash were pronounced dead at the scene, while one was transported via emergency vehicle to a trauma center.
Two cars could be seen severely damaged at the scene of the collision on Main Street and El Segundo Street.
As a result of the crash, a traffic signal at the intersection was knocked down.
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews were also on the scene.
