A San Pedro family is mourning after one of their own was fatally shot outside of a party late Saturday evening.

One of the victims, a 17-year-old male, died at the scene. Family members have identified him as Joseph Isaiah Saldana, who was at the house for a family party.

They say he was in the kitchen of the house when one of the bullets came through the wall and struck him.

"As they approached, they started shooting and the people outside the house, which were the kids, ran in the house," said one family member who wished not to be identified. "One of the bullets hit JoJo, hit my son, hit a couple other people."

Family says that Saldana was an honor roll student who just graduated from Dominguez High School.

"It's unbearable," the family member said. "JoJo was a real good kid, he didn't deserve this. He had his whole life, you know? He was no trouble-maker, he was not affiliated with any type of gang."

Three others were wounded during the shooting as well. The victims, all believed to be in their early 20s, were transported to the hospital where each was listed stable condition.

The home could be seen riddled with bullet holes as well as broken glass.

Investigators are unsure if the shooting is gang-related as they continue their investigation. As it stands there was no information available on either suspect or a motive.
