Authorities search for suspect after 2 injured in Hollywood shooting

A shooting investigation is underway after two people were taken to the hospital for injuries Tuesday morning.

The shooting was reported just before 8 a.m. at Santa Monica Boulevard and Sycamore Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 

Paramedics took one person with a gunshot wound to the hospital in an unknown condition. A second person was also taken to the hospital, but it was unclear what type of injury they had. No arrests were immediately reported.

Authorities are looking for a possible suspect driving a white vehicle. 

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
