1 Killed In Fire At Costa Mesa Home With Hoarding-Type Conditions
COSTA MESA (CBSLA.com) — A resident Tuesday was killed in a fire at an Orange County home with hoarding-type conditions.
The fire was reported at 6:29 a.m. in the 1600 block of Oahu Place in Costa Mesa, according to authorities.
A man in his late 30s or early 40s was able to get out of the single-family home and told officials there was someone else inside.
An unidentified person in their 70s was found deceased in a bedroom.
The flames were extinguished by 7:20 a.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
