1 killed in fatal crash involving an Amazon truck

At least one person was killed and another was taken to the hospital after an Amazon truck and another car collided.

The crash happened at the intersection of Dale and Orange Avenues in Anaheim at about 8 p.m. Wednesday night. 

On Thursday authorities identified the deceased as 83-year-old Anaheim resident Divyaben Kiritkumar Bhatt. She was a passenger in the Toyota Prius that collided with the Amazon truck. 

According to Orange County Sheriff's Department Sergeant Shane Carringer, the Prius may have run a red light just before the collision. 

The driver of the Prius is said to have sustained moderate injuries, while the Amazon worker had complaints of pain, but did not require immediate treatment.
