1 Day Left For $1M Powerball Winner To Come Forward
ROSEMEAD (CBSLA.com) — A $1 million Powerball winner has one more day to claim his prize, California lottery officials said Wednesday.
The Powerball ticket, which won more than $1 million in the Sept. 13, 2014 draw, was purchased at Rosemead Supermarket, 8815 East Valley Boulevard in Rosemead. The ticket matched the number 34, 6, 1, 53 and 16 and was only missing the Powerball number 27.
The mystery winner, whose image is being publicized by California lottery officials, has until Thursday, March 12 at 5 p.m. to claim the prize. If the winner does not come forward in time, his prize money will automatically be sent to California public schools.
California Lottery officials say winners should sign the back of their tickets in ink, keep it in a safe place and visit any of nine Lottery District Offices as soon as possible.
