2 Wounded, 1 Critically, In San Bernardino Shooting

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com)  — Two people were wounded, one critically, in a shooting Wednesday in San Bernardino.

Neighbors told KCAL9's Rachel Kim that the shooting in the 1100 block of N. Mayfield was scary because kids were outside playing in front yards.

Crime scene detectives were trying to determine what happened.

Police said two people were shot, including a 17-year-old who is in critical condition. The other person who was shot but is expected to survive, Kim reported.

Authorities said they didn't have a shooter or suspect and think the incident could be gang-related.

This was the second shooting Wednesday. An earlier shooting occurred around noon. That victim's injuries were not considered serious.

Both of these shootings come on the heels of a shooting Sunday evening involving two cousins, aged 12 and 14. The 12-year-old in that shooting was killed.

San Bernardino police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
